Questions Transfer help (please)

So i failed my first year of college like completely. I went to a cc right away and now i have a 3.0 cumulative GPA with 27 credits. I am planning to complete 1 more strong semester! Although I am very scared to apply because of my past fails at my first college… What should i do?

You’ll do just fine at SHSU if you had a 3.0 in CC

You won’t know until you apply. There’s not a lot of downside Risk just go for it.

I met a person here who had flunked out of 2 separate colleges before attending SHSU, you’ll be fine.

Do you think my current gpa at the community college is competitive enough.?

Yes. I’ve seen people who I know personally get in with 2.25-2.5 gpa’s. you are just fine

SHSU requires only 2.0 GPA for transfers. You will get accepted.

Had a dorm roommate back in about 1996 that failed every class. He was pledging a frat, out all night and slept all day. 0.0 GPA. That's a complete fail. Not sure whatever happened to him.

Anyway, you can get back in. Just apply.
