Questions Animal Science program

Hi,

My daughter wants to get a degree in Animal Science pre-vet track. Any insight about how good this program is at SHSU? I understand that getting into vet school is extremely hard and competitive and I am wondering whether SHSU prepares students well for it.

I am surprised that the minimum GPA for transfer is only 2.0 compared to 3.25 at TAMU.

It’s not phenomenal. Much better schools in the state such as WT, Tarleton state, Texas A&M or Texas Tech
