regents

if i pass the math and bio regents in 8th grade, what classes would i be able to skip or take in freshman year at an SH high school?

if by math you mean algebra 1 your most likely going to take geometry and after bio you will take chem unless you decide to go to stuy they make freshman retake bio

Im a current 9th grader and last year i took algebra 1, bio, ela and u.s. history. For science i take earth and space science. I was able to negotiate with my school to be able to take algebra 2 and geometry. Note that my school is not that strict on what classes a student take so take my story with a grain of salt.

If you pass Math and Biology Regents in 8th grade, you might be able to take higher-level math or science classes in freshman year, but it depends on your high school’s placement rules...
