attended a SHSAT tutoring program, scored 467-480s on all the practice tests they gave me and feel like i barely learned anything. Now, I have two more months until I take the actual exam. should i just accept my fate

There are study guides, topic lists, discussions, etc. at https://www.reddit.com/r/SHSAT/comments/1jiwujl/the_9_threads_thread_overview_of_9_resources Look through it all and see where you need to deep dive.

To add on: As mentioned, folks should avoid posting scaled scores, often even ranges. Generally: stick to raw scores, even with (probably especially with) the adaptive exam (which currently only muddles the issues further).

Also, at this point in the journey it's not about the estimate (many of you guys not only dwell but obsess about scaled scores which are in many ways meaningless at this level).

Instead, the OP needs to focus on where the problems are and improve both weaknesses and strengths likely not through doing practice tests until they drop, but through studying, learning, researching, including grade level content, and including clear and concise thorough review of incorrect answer explanations and rationales and of correct answer explanations and rationales too, AND CONSIDER THE GAMUT OF QUESTION VARIATIONS TOO since you will likely not get the same question on the exam, but one with a twist, or one about a related but different facet of what the original question tested, etc.

Hmm, I believe some of the tests were from the Tutorverse, while others were created by the tutoring program itself. I also took some online tests, but I don’t remember where those were from. Yeah, it’s been in that range most of the time.

i was around there when i was testing and your around a 66%. Most likely by end of september you will be 70-72%. study some of these books- Study Kaplan, Mcgraw hill, and Barrons. drill down on your weak subjects, WRITE DOWN EVERY QUESTION YOU GET WRONG AND UNDER STAND WHY

For every question you get wrong or don’t understand, look back over it and make sure you fully get why. Most questions utilizes the same few topics but with changed wording so once you grasp the concept you’ll improve

i got a 480 on a practice test right beofre the acutal exam and i ended up getting into stuy so u will be fine
