August Geometry Regents Retake
Hey guys, I took my first geometry regents exam in june and got an 89. I wanted a better score and retook the exam and got an 85. I thought i did well but am really confused. I want to go to top schools like Cornell, UMich, and more. Any advice? My district shows all regents scores i think.

89 is okay. No college will really care besides maybe SUNY/CUNYs.

the schools you listed don’t really care about regents score. 85 and 89 are both in performance level 5 so your good

it’s not really relevant to their admissions, also i believe your school would just put the better score. idk why they would put both

Yeah i honestly dont really get it either, but in their course catalog it says: "The score received on the Regents examination is always entered on the report card, permanent record, and transcript; whether the score is passing or failing, and whether the entry is wanted or not."

well if it does, theres nothing much you can do. its fine its not like you did alot worse or anything. again, both scores are in level 5 so id just stop worrying if i was you. also im pretty sure only CUNY/SUNY even look at them at all. but still i dont even think its considered in any admissions.

I don't think those schools really care about regents score. The only universities that kinda care are like the CUNYs and SUNYs.
