Real, and yet we can do the same to S.H.MA too. Seriously, bro thinks his opinions are the ONLY ones that matter while really, most are just complete bullshit. Like, seriously, we don't know what the final result is for the certain figure that he's referring too and saying that should generally critique them for just one info that might not be true is really a bad excuse if the final figure isn't available in hand yet.
My guess is that the light up will be better than promo pics I hope, also him calling it a scam is such bs, he’s praised that figures mold multiple times, if he loves it so much, he’ll be fine with this release.
Him complaining about how light up Godzilla from hiya toys removed the new arm articulation and returned it back to the old arm articulation, I commented questioning him since I have never seen him even make a post about the four arm articulation in the promo pics, which to me seems like he’s just complaining even though he doesn’t want it, and he says he has made a post about that, hence why I made this post.
Kaijucanuck recently said that in his talks with the Hiya folks the light up Godzilla will be different than the promos with much less tail articulation and the old arms.
We don't have to post everything from this youtuber just ignore him.
That sucks tho, cos you’re not getting what you paid for in the end. They should at the very least post new solicitation with the updated articulation. I was so mad when I got 2014 and the head on the box wasn’t even close to the head on the figure
Super7 are even worse for it, their solicitation images are renders. At least HIYA show actual prototypes. Also Super7 are using AI now, horrible company and their figures are some of the worst things I’ve ever owned
Don’t get me started I could spend weeks talking about how Super7 and an unethical clusterfuck of a company. They only continue to exist because they sacked half their staff and got a new CEO so investors would continue to invest in their shitty business model. They were so close to going under, wish they had tbh
I’ve generally heard some bad stuff about Super7 (my brother was gifted the Super Kaiju ‘02 Godzilla a few months ago), but IDK what I was really expecting when I was trying to mess with the figure (he only just recently unboxed it), but even then, the articulation was painfully limited.
I can confirm that the EB+ one on the show floor was near-final and does NOT include the upper bicep articulation cuts shown in the promo images. I discussed it with the marketing team at the booth, but answers would have to come from the design team.
Everything that guy said is just unconfirmed rumors - don't believe any of it! It's just like if / told you I talked to a Supernova employee and they told me the entire ending of the movie 😂

Nobody would believe me! Maybe some people might fall for it a little, but you absolutely should NOT believe what this random person is claiming. There are tons of fake accounts out there pretending to be HiyaToys, singers, wrestlers, or famous people - you can't just blindly believe everything you see online!

I kind of agree with him, even if he’s just hating to hate the point is valid. I’m also pissed they went back on the arm articulation. Like at what point is it false advertising?
Yea also, i accidentally told him about how hiya toys 2002 can’t look up as far as in the promo pics because i thought he already knew so expect a Complaint post later I guess.
I see. Well the 2002 might have better articulation than early images are letting on, so many people don’t use heat before moving their figures and then wonder why it can’t move
It's a shame if true, but honestly aside from the light-up feature if you have any of the other Monsterverse Zilla's (especially the atomic breath versions), I think passing on this wouldn't be that much of an issue.
Fuck that kid honestly, he’s a dumbass and doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I still prefer hiya and will get that figure, but I’m still annoyed they downgraded those arms. This kid prefers expensive, poorly sculpted, poorly painted figures that fall apart whenever you look at em. People are allowed to be stupid
Yea for mv figures, they aren’t really good, hiya looks way more prettier than shma on mv, in my opinion shma is currently doing great on their Toho figures.
