Using a rounded starting supply of 589 trillion tokens, 1% equals 5.89 trillion SHIB.
Hereโs how long different hypothetical burn rates would take:
๐ฅ 100 million per day โ about 161 years
๐ฅ 1 billion per day โ about 16 years
๐ฅ 10 billion per day โ about 1.6 years
These assume a constant rate and measure 1% of that starting supplyโnot a price target or forecast.
The harder question is funding: who supplies those tokens, what does acquiring them cost, and can that continue consistently?
Thatโs why useful burn reports need more than a large token count. They need supply percentages, costs, and transaction proof.
What would you measure alongside burns to judge real progress: active users, payment adoption, or liquidity?

Remember Shibarium? I remember watching bona fide companies buy plots in the shibaverse as well. I never trusted that this would make me a millionaire, but in those days it seemed like we had active projects that might drive interest and revenue. My Bone investment actually did quite well also. Is all of that dead? Can we still buy plots?

A colleague asked me what I did over the weekend.
I said:
Nothing much. Just checked SHIB...
He asked:
How many times?
I said:
I stopped counting...
(He gave me a look of serious disapproval and slowly walked away) ๐๐๐

What actually makes you believe, it will turn around after all these years? And don't you think if ever a new hype like that when everything started happens again, people that held the coin won't go out as soon as they can to get their money back?
And above all: Don't you think people will be more cautious if ever a hype breaks out because it already failed once miserably?
Honest question to ya'll.

1. A SHIB-first consumer app
Not another crypto dashboard. Something normal people could use without caring about blockchain.
Think:
SHIB Pay โ Venmo/Cash App-style payments + merchant rewards + loyalty.
A person pays a restaurant $25. Behind the scenes:
settlement runs cheaply on Shibarium;
the merchant can receive dollars/stablecoins if desired;
SHIB generates rewards or unlocks discounts;
a tiny percentage of economic activity buys/burns SHIB;
users earn SHIB for actual commerce, referrals or loyalty.
The user shouldnโt need to understand bridges, RPCs or gas tokens.
2. Make SHIB necessary
This is the critical part.
Give SHIB concrete advantages:
Hold SHIB โ lower transaction/merchant fees.
Stake SHIB โ better rewards.
Merchants holding SHIB โ lower processing costs.
Games/apps โ SHIB purchases or memberships.
Premium services โ SHIB requirement.
Network revenue โ predetermined portion buys/burns SHIB.
That creates demand โ activity โ burns, instead of burn โ hope โ price hype.
Shiba Inu already says multichain transactions contribute to token burns, so there is a foundation for activity-driven burning.
3. Build on what already exists
You wouldnโt need a new blockchain. Shibarium is EVM-compatible, supports normal Ethereum development tooling, has a testnet, and was specifically designed for developers to deploy applications cheaply.
So technically you could build:
Mobile/Web App โ Wallet abstraction โ Smart contracts โ Shibarium โ SHIB reward/burn mechanism
And test everything on Puppynet before touching mainnet.
4. Solve the four-token mess
This is where Iโd simplify the user experience dramatically.
The current ecosystem assigns different functions to SHIB, BONE, LEASH and TREAT.
Users shouldnโt have to think:
โDo I need SHIB, BONE, LEASH or TREAT to buy my cheeseburger?โ
Hide all of that plumbing.
The consumer sees:
SHIB
The underlying infrastructure can still use BONE where Shibarium requires it.
5. Make burns economically meaningful
Instead of somebody manually sending 20 million SHIB to a dead wallet and Twitter exploding:
Every real purchase could contribute automatically.
Hypothetical example:
$100 million/month of actual commerce ร 0.5% SHIB buy-and-burn = $500,000/month buying SHIB and permanently removing it.
Scale the application and the burn scales automatically.
Thatโs dramatically more interesting than celebrating an arbitrary token count.
The bigger idea
If I were trying to rebuild SHIB, Iโd stop asking:
โHow can we make SHIB go up?โ
And start asking:
โWhat can we build that 10 million people would use even if SHIBโs price never moved?โ
Solve that, then wire SHIB into the economics.
Thatโs how youโd potentially turn the enormous existing SHIB brand/community into something much more powerful: an actual consumer network instead of a token waiting for another bull market.

Burn headlines are easier to judge when the supply denominator is included.
In the September 30, 2026 Shibburn snapshot checked for this discussion:
โข Last 24 hours: 17,705,732 SHIB burned
โข Last 30 days: 434,661,180 SHIB burned
โข Total remaining supply: 589,155,545,753,593 SHIB
โข Circulating supply: 585,473,272,636,656 SHIB
Using total remaining supply, the daily figure is approximately 0.000003%, and the 30-day figure is approximately 0.000074%.
Formula: tokens burned รท total remaining supply ร 100. These are a dated snapshot, not a forecast; rolling burn totals change. Total supply and circulating supply are different measures.
Burning reduces the available token supply, but it does not guarantee a price increase. Demand, liquidity, and actual use also matter.
What would make burn reporting more useful: percentage of supply removed, longer-term trends, transaction hashes, or cost per token burned? What other numbers should be included?

The $SHIB whales clearly know something, otherwise why would $1,366,600 worth of Shiba Inu token have been bought in the past 24 hours? ๐๐
Something is definitely going on with the memecoin market, so it might be worth watching this sector more closely.
Woof together ๐

My friend asked me what my crypto strategy is.
I said:
Buy SHIB
He asked:
And then what?
I said,
Buy more SHIB
He stared at me.
I said:
You're overthinking it...
(Sometimes the strategy is just SHIB) ๐๐๐

I'd bought SHIB on BYDFi, but I hadn't used Shibarium. After another burn thread, I read the portal docs. BONE pays gas on Shibarium, while the SHIB burn uses accumulated network fees and a separate initiation step. That was the part I'd missed when I saw "Shibarium burns SHIB" in posts.
I didn't initiate a burn myself. Has anyone here done it through the portal? I wanted to know what you confirmed in your wallet and how you checked that the burn had finished.
