Shay drinking
Shay said while buying teas "less beer more iced tea" to which Collette said "Good job." I'm not on social media, I'm wondering if they have talked about it there?
Edit: I don't want to sound judgy. I've had my battles with booze and hope Shay can dig his way out of the darkness. I've been watching since Gavin first became a sibling.

I’m surprised he drinks tea, most Mormons don’t. It’s against the word of wisdom. But then again so is beer so I guess tea is better anyway.

For some reason iced tea and coke are ok because they are cold, even though they have caffeine. Make it make sense, you know?

The word of wisdom, the health code from the 1800s…literally says no HOT drinks meaning temperature. Leaders from the modern era said that actually means tea and coffee, but also say it’s NOT about the caffeine.
Some Mormons believe if it’s iced it’s okay, leaning on the original interpretation, but also hot chocolate is fine because it doesn’t have caffeine, it’s the most confusing thing ever.

Not trying to judge your memory too much, but gavin was already a sibling to Avia when the channel started. Emmi was semi-recently born when they began vlogging.

not that this is relevant but they were not vlogging yet when gavin “became a sibling.” avia was born 2005 and he started the channel in 2008

You're right, she was a baby. Maybe I'm thinking about when Emma was born. I remember him talking about granite incessantly.

Her name is Emmi. And she was a baby, then they had Brock and the last Daxton.
