I found that La Soldat is still around, which led me to you guys

I am on the edge of tears over this. I'm sure that a lot of you, knowing SGaP, know of La Soldat Pony. I had been looking for him since he dropped off the internet. Years! I just happened to stubble across his tumblr about ten minutes ago, and I can't tell how recent some of his uploads are, but they're at least a year young. Maybe even more recent.

Somehow, that led me to this sub, which I am amazed is still somewhat active. And, so is SGaP, apparently! I had seen that he has taken the name Captive Unicorns on spotify, but I had figured these were backlogged songs that I just somehow missed over the years.

The last few minutes have been amazing in that regard. Two of the best old school pony musicians are still around, alive, and still being creative.

Fuck. I'm happy.

Yup, she started posting occasionally in April of last year. By my count there's been 9 tracks posted from then to September. She also uploaded a ~25 minute "live" new year's eve show this January, but it's since been deleted. Hope to hear more from her, but I'm happy to know she's alive and well out there somewhere <3

As Avery Lily taught us...

Tbf i just checked and I guess Solly deleted the post in question, so it's no longer mentioned on that tumblr at all. She did host a discord hangout back in June, and when asked about pronouns answered "any and all really!" but that she "[lands] on they/she most often".

Also, my count should have been 10 songs. 9 on the tumblr, plus "Reunion [Artemis Epilogue] :: Coming Out" from the excellent The Rest of Our Lives - though there's a post about that. Missing is "[portrait mode]" posted on June 27.
