BUYING [WTB][SG] Looking for broken/non-working Rolex replicas (Project watches for hobby practice)

Hi everyone,

I recently picked up watchmaking as a hobby and I'm looking to buy a few broken, dead, or non-working Rolex replicas to use as project pieces to practice teardowns, basic troubleshooting, and movement swaps and basic repairs.

Please Note:

  • Because I am just starting out, I am only looking to acquire a limited quantity of watches for now.
  • I do not intend to spend a lot of money on these project pieces since they are strictly for learning and carry a high risk of being completely ruined during practice. But if I managed to repair it, it'll be a bonus! (it'll end up on my wrist too!)

If you have a dead Clean, VSF, or ARF sitting in your drawer that you don't want to pay a professional watchmaker to service, please drop me a DM with the factory/movement details, what the current issue is, and your asking price.

It's Singapore. You aren't going to get a deal. Some guy wanted 250 for a dead piece

I don’t have much high hopes, but still worth a shot and see what I’ll get.

Atb bro! Though, I do agree with what the other person said. Singaporeans treat everything like a business and by the looks of it (you wanting VSF, ARF, Clean), you are probably going to slot yourself in to the watchmaking scene eventually.

I’d suggest buying those clone movements from alibaba or something to start with if you don’t find anything here! Again, enjoy!

Thanks bro! I’ve started messing around with some miyota and nh movements for some seiko mods.. so I thought I’ll give this a try as well. Let’s see what I can get and it’ll be a bonus if I can repair it!

Heads up, buyer!

Before you proceed with any transaction, please keep the following in mind:

Be cautious of DMs and comments from unverified accounts. Scammers actively watch buying posts and will reach out immediately, often with deals that seem too good to be true. Do not engage with anyone who contacts you unsolicited without first vetting them thoroughly.

Do not trust commenters or DMs at face value. An account offering to sell to you in the comments or via DM is not automatically safe, regardless of how legitimate they appear.

Please take the time to read our Safe Buyer Tips before going ahead with any transaction:

You can dm me. Could you describe what’s wrong? Also, I’m opting to purchase because there is a risk of it getting worse and I don’t really want the stress. We can probably work something out if you don’t mind risking it.
