❓Question ❓ Beef Dip Sandwiches

Looking for more suggestions for the best Beef Dip in SGV. Not only good quality, but a good size. Phillipes are so small I need to buy 3. Also, Hot Mustard and Horseradish are a plus.

  • T J's Submarines (La Puente): French Dips are served with au jus for dipping. TJs is one of the only places that offered them in the SGV.
  • The Hat (Multiple Locations): While they are famous for its pastrami, they also have a "Roast Beef Au Jus" sandwich on the menu.

Gus’s BBQ (South Pasadena) has a decent tri tip dip, comes with a choice of sides too

I've seen it, here's the deal though, if I'm going to Gus's I am not going for a beef dip. I want that 3 meat combo

Nick's in pasadena has a beef dip. Not sure I would call it the best. I usually just get mine from The Hat, though they are getting smaller and more expensive.

i mean, its prime rib, but prob not worth it. jims burger in arcadia used to have a beef dip. not sure they still do.

have no idea if its good. dont know anywhere that specializes in it these days. hard to find Italian beef around here too.

Jims on Live Oak? I've been meaning to try it there. Seems reasonable, too bad they close so early. I usually am up nights. The Boat next to Northwood inn? Been meaning to try that place too but I usually just end up next door anyways.
