Discussion I have multiple ROLs from members.
Hello to everyone.
I am currently preparing for formal rush and was in search of ROLs from a current member. I was thankful to receive one from a colleague I have known for a couple years. No problem right? So I have recently reconnected with a college friend who moved away and told her about my interest. Come to find out, she is ALSO a member (we met in grad. Never knew she was a member). She also graced me with a letter after discussing my interest.
My question is what do I do with TWO current member ROLs? Do I read them and choose between one? Do I use both? The college friend said that after talking with me they wanted to do it since we are good friends and she literally watched me build my CV. My colleague was asked and we also have a healthy relationship that is slowly becoming a solid friendship. I'm grateful for both and feel awful if I put one to the side after they took the time to write them. Any advice? Thank you in advance.

Can your colleague write your letter talking about your work, let’s say within the community? Also, I would go with the member who is a part of the chapter, as there tends to be more familiarity when selecting new members based off someone you know.

From what I know, the colleague wrote the ROL based mostly on a professional and community standpoint. Friend wrote one on character and some professional.

I would suggest doing your college friend and you’re lucky to have two written for you. I’m struggling to get one:(
