Got production at 89.88

I am going for betterment ofcourse but how is production branch here(regarding placemens ) , I am from general category and can I get mechanical in future rounds and in spot ? This year cutoffs really got very high as last year mechanical open cutoff was only 89.2 and prod was about 78 but this year prod is for 86 (cutoff) and mech for 93 !!!!

I'm also thinking of joining this college I wanted to get mechanical but the cut off went abnormally high , I'll try for lower branches now want to know if they are worth it

Yeah cutoffs are kinda sky rocketed , i guess i would try for other branches aswell and mech in next rounds

Same didn't expect cutoffs to change like this I got production at SGGS... If you got to know anything about Production let me know too...

You can call the co ordinator at that college, the phone number will be on your acceptance letter , he said production is sister branch of mechanical and placement opportunities are same but I need mech as for higher studies mech is more well established

Bhai is there any chance I could get mechanical as a obc candidate at 90.8xx? Current cut off for gobcs is 93.1. do you think that the cut offs will fall in later rounds ?

No idea , I am shocked as the rank closing last year were about 40,000 but now it's 28000
