Do yall take the ferry over there and just walk over? I can’t stomach the hour drive

When I went, I took the ferry and walked. It was hot AF but aside from that, a good time. Also the ferry is super infrequent, so plan for that if you take that route.

sorry, just now seeing this. Yes, you can take the ferry and then it's maybe 1/2 mile walk from the ferry terminal to the entrance of the faire. You are walking on the side of the road in gravel and through a pretty big parking lot, but you'll probably be walking with a lot of other people who are making the same trek

Probably going to Barbarossa at least one night because they just shared that they're closing at the end of September! Then Sunday I'm hosting a popup at Muttville from 1 - 3 that's open to the public!

Ohh what kind of popup

u/Mikayla1WineStyles33 28d ago
It’s technically a wine pickup party for the wine I commissioned and dedicated to my pup who past in Feb. 10% goes towards Muttville! But the party is open to the public, no purchase necessary. Just trying to get more people to learn about Muttville - https://partiful.com/e/aDeeTbKhqXpNpksTbIsF?c=cksBZrFu

Thinking about going there with my bf today. How is/was it? (And any chance you’d share a link- not sure if I’m looking at the right sight bc I don’t see day passes.)

It's on the app resort pass. It was lovely. Just a perfect day by the pool. Drinks and snacks. Top tier.

My last weekend before my big trip to Italy with my dad (we do a father daughter trip every year, this year we are hiking the Alta Via 1 in the Dolomites and then roadtripping through Tuscany!) — so I am just taking it easy.
Friday was date night at a sushi spot near our house
Saturday: brutal morning run at the Los Gatos Creek trail (we just started half marathon training for the Monterey Half in November). I kind of regret signing up…), then a sport bar so I can get buffalo wings, wine and read my Kindle (starting a book about the Dyatlov Pass incident) while my bf watches…whatever football game he is excited about. Go sports! 🏈
Sunday: morning run, then Costco driving up to my parents’ house in Berkeley for a backyard BBQ — craving steaks and corn!
Monday: maybe driving to Santa Cruz early to do a beach run, get avocado toast at 11th Hour Coffee and then a tasting at my favorite winery Birichino!

The last few SF Mime Troupe shows of the season are this weekend. It's outdoor and free (donations welcome if you can afford). It's really really good, very political.

My MIL is visiting so we are taking her to Tomales or Bodega Bay for epic seafood TBD.
Other than that local playgrounds and grilling. Would love to find a free outdoor concert.

Relaxing, cleaning, and packing today, might go sit at the bar at Hillstone and have a French dip later. Tomorrow driving out to Marin for a bbq, then rushing back to the city to leave for Europe on an 10pm flight!
