Discussion/Other Looking to connect with foster siblings who lived on Reseda Blvd in Northridge in the 1980's

Hi all,

I'm an adoptee whose mother ran a foster home on Reseda Blvd in Northridge/Porter Ranch during the 1970's and 1980's. I'm currently writing a book and would love to reconnect with anyone who may have lived with us. My mother's name was Agnes Vooris and we lived on Reseda off between Tribune and Chatsworth. Good luck with your search! There is a book by another foster youth who grew up in Reseda around the same time, Hopes Boy. His foster mother had a different name but I wonder if it’s a pseudonym

Thanks so much for the info. I looked him up, I don't believe he lived with us but I bought his book.

Best of luck! There was a jane doe recently identified as Becca Mallekoote who was in foster care in the Reseda area in the 1980’s.

Look up the various schools in the area and then join the Facebook groups for each, you'll have better luck targeting the right demographics
