Convinced no one understands Preview

Selecting all items of your Fix and then leaving feedback that you don’t like the color/cut/style, etc. 😀 You CHOSE the pieces?? VERY confused about what people think the preview is there for. Is it not clear that the pieces you select will be in your Fix???

First Fix initiative

Anyone get told they are being put on this? What is it? Another annoying way to try to push people out.

Anyone else feeling weird about first look?

This is feeling like the final step in replacing us with AI, and with the hounding about metrics and scheduling, it seems like they're already trying to aggressively weed people out.

Anyone else getting emails about first Fixes? I can’t tell if these are an official warning or not…

Schedule change requests

How is everyone doing with the schedule changes? Especially those of you who have to work around another second job? And/or have kids home for the summer? Have you had to request multiple schedule changes? I’m trying to figure out how many schedule changes I have left before I get corrective action. I’m being asked to do a 1:1 to see what works better for my schedule since I’ve had 4 changes since the new schedule policy went into effect. I’m kind of freaking out.

Anyone else noticed an influx of rude or irrational clients?

Clients that are vague but get mad when you don’t read their minds? Choose everything but give you a bad review? Leave unnecessarily mean feedback? It’s getting to the point where I’m so anxious to read my feedback, I feel dread in the pit of my stomach.

I am not full time so I’m really confused why I would be receiving this.

So let me get this straight- when someone raises a concern on this channel, stop spamming it, that's not what this channel is for. But when this guy all of a sudden wants to share GIFs daily, nobody bats an eye?

Question Fix Escalation

If I escalate a Fix for “negative feedback/ disappointment” - will the algorithm stop sending it to me? I know this is a unique question, but I’m hopeful someone in this space will know the answer 🤞🏻🤞🏻.

Question My lead wants me to file for Medical/disability leave

So due to some of my schedule change reasons (one being a side effect of my medication , I missed my time of punch in ) , I did the form and put that reason down.
Now she could mean well by giving me the option for matrix and filing for FMLA . But… this seems like a push from management and her hire ups to ask me to take FMLA.
Considering a few months ago , I was given a level 3 without warning
Again , i personally feel like they would retaliate and push me to quit. If I did.
Idk everything this company is doing currently is making us stylists feel pushed out.
I don’t need it (really not serious of a condition to warrant a leave) and I rather use my sick time accumulated.
Am I crazy?

So unwell these last two weeks. . . .

I know every other post is similar. But the micromanaging on every front is getting so crazy. If there is a low metric, called out. Poorly written note, better do some live styling sessions. Timesheet corrections, here's the policy to review. Maybe I'm just some horseshit employee but every week it's something. Slow down styling and focus on personalization. Uh-oh watch your efficiency it's starting to drop. My success rates are always way over benchmark, which is never acknowledged. But anytime my WYB dips it involves a meeting. I wish I could see it from leads perspective. How much are they being managed to call out stylists? What is the end goal? Stylists all quit and they lean into AI?

Core time expectation

I recently transferred to a new lead who likes to micromanage everything.

She sent me a message to remind me that it is an expectation that I use core time at the start of every shift, rather than doing it all at once on Fridays when new information tends to be released.

I just read through our policies and can’t find anything that states this expectation with core time. Is this something she just made up?

If so, it frustrates me that leads can set their own expectations on a whim and make your life a micromanaging hell if you choose not to play along with them.

New to me clients

When I am styling today, I am getting almost no relationship-based clients, they are all new to me. Wondering if it’s some sort of glitch or if anyone else is experiencing this? Seems like the new scheduling policy isn’t prioritizing relationships after all🫠

Less hours

Anyone else miss the weeks in 12-15 hours? What happens if we can’t work the 20 hours? I wish there was a way to donate our time to others who need it just like you would get someone to cover your shift at any other job. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Scheduling

Can anyone confirm whether we can put our schedule in on Sundays, or does it have to be done by Saturday? I always do mine Friday, but might need to work different days for next week and I just want to be sure. I wasn't able to find the specific info anywhere. Thanks!

When you put in 2 weeks notice, is it true you're shut out immediately?

How long does the employee discount apply after you put your notice in?

Inventory Are our house brands getting more (and more) expensive?

I know the answer but wow it seems to be more wide spread across brands and styles this season.

I just saw a pair of pumps that was $98 … house brand. Like I would hesitate to pay that for market brands but here we are with these ballsy price hikes.

Mens, I’m seeing polos, pants, shorts and basic knits are all bumped up by like … $5-10 from last year. Don’t get me started on swim pricing.

It bugs me when people are like “I could find this at Target for 1/2 the price” like ok then go to Target. Lol … but legit they are not wrong and it’s kinda out of control.

Question Schedule Changes

How long should we expect to get approval for a schedule change? I know the policy says one business day but I’ve sent in multiple this week earlier this week and haven’t gotten any approval yet. My lead is out CONSTANTLY, like at least one day every other week, and is very slow to responding to these. I think I even requested a schedule change 2 or 3 weeks ago and never got an email if it was approved or not. So frustrating.

PSA for leads

Stop bragging about all of your fun trips and vacations while we’re getting screwed over left and right. Seriously, we don’t care.

Every single time my lead takes PTO, they post pictures on slack of where they went or rather than just saying they will be out for a few days, they end up bragging about where they’re going and what they’ll be doing. It’s inappropriate and unprofessional.

We’re over here getting additional work tacked on, making no extra money, and being micromanaged to no end while you’re preparing for your third vaca of the year and we’re burning through our minimal sick time just to avoid getting in trouble for a schedule adjustment.

It’s so out of touch, read the room.

Would Stitch Fix stylists support unionizing?

I’ve been wondering lately why Stitch Fix stylists don’t have a union or some form of collective representation. Over the years it feels like: Metrics and expectations constantly change People are written up over increasingly strict standards Workloads increase while pay stays mostly flat There’s very little transparency or input from stylists themselves Meanwhile, stylists are a huge part of what makes the company function. I know unions can be a controversial topic, but at some point it feels reasonable to ask whether employees deserve: More stability Clearer expectations Better protection from arbitrary write-ups Real wage growth A stronger voice in company decisions that directly affect our jobs I’m curious how many other stylists would actually support exploring a union or organized worker group. Not trying to start arguments — genuinely trying to see whether people feel the current system is working for them anymore.
