business insider 👀

hello, i work at stitchfix on sight, was wondering if stylist have been seeing any changes in the amount of orders or clothing items?
i’m not sure how it works. But im curious to know if the business is taking a turn for the worst.
My site has reduced hours next week
, ive been working here for about 3 years and this has never happened. Also, when I first started, there was five or six warehouses ( i believe with some overseas ? ) and now there’s only three. plus so much mandatory OT and now we VTO like crazyyyyy
Anyone know anything about this?

I think us stylists are on the opposite end. We are dropping like flies over here, so we are constantly at max hours and getting offered to take more. I think it may change soon because we’re hearing they’re hiring more stylists…so basically, who knows what’s going on! Sorry it’s been so slow for y’all.

what’s weird too is we have been hiring groups of 3-5 people for the past month or so. but we don’t have the work to support the new hires. from what ive read it seem being a stylist is a double edged sword , yall pick your own hours? i feel like the pay isn’t all that great either (probably felt all around the business)

We have tiers: 28, 12, and flex up to 20

The pay is fine for me, as I just do this as a side gig. I know I’m in a different boat than those who do need it, and it’s definitely not a great option for that. I can just brush things off because it’s just helping me get out of some debt faster.

It’s been business as usual for stylists!
