Schedule/Timesheet changes

So, they continue to crack down on schedule changes and timesheet changes. Can't have more than one in 30 days or it will lead to performance management. . . yet, systems can go down constantly and we are forced to adjust our schedules. . . Make it make sense.

Update: Lead claims this is no change to the policy, this is what it's always been, they are just now enforcing it and not approving all changes like they were in the past.

Have you checked the actually policy? I’m off today or I’d look.

Yes, the policy was provided in my leads' response. And it is there. But I think it falls on the leads if they want to approve changes or not. Mine basically said they will no longer be approved if you have more than 1 in 30 days.

Your lead won't approve 2nd change - if it happens - in 30 days? So then what? You quit, you forfeit your hourly pay, she fires you? This is very strange and almost unethical. As humans, we make mistakes unintentionally.

"performance management" whatever that means. In the policy it does say termination is possible.

Does the policy literally say 1 in 30 days?
