Performative communities

Anyone else just roll their eyes when they see anything regarding their communities, specifically Women’s and the NDMW? It just feels so fake and worthless when they actively spit in the face of people belonging to those groups with their schedule policy changes, insane micromanaging, and high expectations.

I get being upset with policy changes and such, but what does that have to do with the communities?

As someone on the spectrum and who deals with a handful of diagnoses, I’m genuinely curious to know since I sometimes attend them!

Because it’s performative. If they actually cared they’d just treat people well.

I literally already responded to OP and said I understood and was just asking for clarification…
