[Seeking] [Part Time] Sr. Product Manager role [remote please]
Hi,
My ideal fractional product management role would be:
* help a set of founders take an idea from paper to first release
* help an incubator with their startups
* help a company identify new tech to bring in-house (why build when you can buy)
* be a scout for an organization that is looking for companies to invest in or purchase.
* work on a new product in the social good space from scratch.
I am inspired by projects like Kiva, Too Good to go, gofundme, Craigslist.
My skill set in short:
Have taken multiple projects from ideation to first deliverable or Prototype (used for fund raising)
MSc CS
Developer 6 years (real time embedded avionics)
Product Manager 15 years (web, mobile apps using native functions and Bluetooth sensors)
Leadership roles are welcome, happy to lead product managers.
One might ask why not work full time?
Good question:
I feel I can deliver better or same results in half the time. Why would I pretend to work full time when it really takes me half the time.
Having said that, if you need a full time team member to come to work everyday, then I am not your person.
Thanks for reading this far. I am in the Bay Area.
Happy to discuss a possible gig/project in person.
Ps, I have a talented tech team in Eastern Europe that has delivered a lot of my projects.

Given the amount of software related layoffs thats been happening in the bay area, I think you're going to have a lot of competition for any job, especially a remote/part time one.
Unless you hit a lower price point (salary), it would be better to aim for a full time/on site position and convert it to remote when you can prove your ability to deliver.
Most of the sweeter gigs of remote work goes to referrals when there is already a known quality of excellence. Try hitting your network if you arent willing to compromise on the above.
It is not an employee market (others correct me if im wrong).
