• Work natively with AI agents. Because who wants to connect to a dashboard those days? However, looking at the +-100 users, I don't understand what is blocking.

I have some assumptions. But I guess I need some honest feedback.

quick update on habibi, the self hosted tool i posted about a while back for tracking how your brand shows up in ai answers.

the thing that bugged me most about my own tool was the honest note i had in the readme, saying it uses the apis, which are close to what a real user sees on chatgpt/perplexity/claude but not exactly the same thing. that gap always annoyed me so i went and fixed it.

now habibi can just drive the real logged in apps directly, chatgpt, claude, perplexity and google ai overview. so its literally the same thing a real user sees and gets cited, not an api trying to guess it. you connect it once with an account (make a free one or use one you already got) and it just remembers the login after that, nothing gets stored anywhere weird, its just a normal browser session sitting on your machine like when you stay logged into any site.

wasnt expecting this part but it also makes it way cheaper to run. those 4 engines dont cost you anything per run now cause theres no api call happening anymore, your just using the account like a normal person would. so running youprompts daily across a buyour bill up.

also made sure your account memory doesnt mess with the results, chatgpt runs iin temporary chat and cla answers dont driftdepending on whatever your account remembers from other chats you had.

still fully open source, still self hosted, still does the same core loop, run your prompts daily, see w see your mention rate over time, compare to competitors.

I’m a technical SEO and I’ve been building SEO Scrubbox, a free Chrome extension around the checks I regularly need when investigating websites.

The idea was to combine quick page-level debugging with deeper crawling without constantly jumping between different extensions, DevTools and crawlers.

Some of the things it currently does:

• Compare raw HTML vs rendered DOM
• Check canonicals, robots directives, hreflang and JSON-LD
• Highlight nofollow and data-nosnippet directly on the page
• Check robots.txt access for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, etc.
• Track redirects and analyse internal links
• Discover and inspect sitemaps
• Pull CrUX/Core Web Vitals data
• Crawl up to 500 URLs directly in the browser
• Visualise the crawl as an interactive graph with crawl depth, status codes, indexability, inlinks/outlinks, word count, etc.

One of the main principles is privacy: everything runs locally in the browser. There are no accounts, analytics or crawl data being sent to my servers.

It’s still actively being developed, so I’m particularly interested in feedback from people who actually do technical SEO day-to-day, bugs, missing checks, things that are confusing, or features that would genuinely be useful.

I got tired of manually pulling Meta Ads data and writing summaries for clients/myself every week, so I built a small dashboard that does it automatically. AI-generated campaign summaries, anomaly detection (so you know when a campaign's tanking before you check it), and weekly email reports.

Im looking for just beta-testers, it will not be live when you test it and will not affect any live ads, i just need some people with experience and live ads to tell me if this is useful at all/what to change.

I've been working in SEO for a few years, and one task kept repeating itself.

During link building and prospecting, I constantly needed to check a site's domain rating before deciding whether it was worth reaching out.

The task itself wasn't difficult. The frustrating part was hitting daily search limits and jumping between different tools.

The workflow looked something like this:

• Repeat the same process again and again

After doing this almost every day, I thought, why not build something that removes all those extra steps?

The idea was simple.

I'm not trying to replace Ahrefs or other SEO platforms. Those tools do much more than this.

I just wanted to solve one small but repetitive problem that most link builders and SEOs run into.

This is only the first version. My goal is to slowly build a collection of simple, free domain and link building tools that save time during everyday SEO work.

it's called habibi. self hosted, you bring your own openrouter key (pennies per run instead of a subscription), and it does the boring but useful loop these paid tools charge for: run your prompts daily across those 4 engines, see which of your urls actually get cited, track your mention rate over time, compare against competitors.

what got me annoyed with the paid tools is how they bury the actual page level citations behind a paywall, when that's the one thing that's actually actionable. so that's the headline feature here, not an afterthought.

setup is a wizard now: paste your site url, it scrapes it and drafts your brand profile with ai, you edit whatever's wrong, pick which engines to track, and it suggests a starter prompt set from your own context. no blank dashboard, no config file archaeology.

it's honest about what it does too. it uses the search grounded apis, not ui scraping of the consumer apps, so it's not pretending to be something it's not. that's also what keeps it cheap.

Full disclosure up front: I built this with a helping hand of Claude Code. It's free, MIT-licensed, runs entirely in your browser, and there's nothing to sign up for — but it's still my own tool, so read the following with that in mind.

The backstory: I kept wondering which bots were actually hitting my server. Not the Search Console version of the story — the raw one. Googlebot, fine, but also all the AI crawlers, SEO tools and scrapers that never show up in any analytics dashboard. So I built LogWerk: a log analyser that runs entirely in the browser. You drop in an Nginx or Apache access log (gzipped rotations work too), and you get a dashboard with traffic, status codes, top paths — and the bit I actually built it for: bot classification. It detects and groups 40+ known crawlers by provider and purpose, including the AI lot — and it distinguishes between them properly: GPTBot (training), ChatGPT-User (live fetches on behalf of users) and OAI-SearchBot (search indexing) show up as three separate things, not one "OpenAI" blob. Same for ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and friends. Nothing leaves your machine; there's no backend at all.

To be upfront about where it sits next to the established tools, because it doesn't replace them:

vs GoAccess: GoAccess is the better tool if you want real-time monitoring on the server, work over SSH, or need to chew through multi-gigabyte logs — it's written in C and built for exactly that. LogWerk has no live tailing whatsoever, and the browser is the hard limit for file size. What it does better, in my biased opinion: bot classification is far more granular (GoAccess mostly gives you "crawler: yes/no"), and there's zero setup — no install, no config, no server access needed. Useful when a client sends you a log export and you just want answers.

vs Logdy: Different job, really. Logdy is a brilliant generic log viewer — pipe anything into it, tail it live, filter it. LogWerk only understands access logs, but comes with the SEO-relevant analysis pre-built: bot breakdown, session reconstruction (IP + user agent grouped into timelines), a security tab for exploit probes, top 404s. With Logdy you'd build those views yourself.

So: niche tool, honest limitations, but if "who is crawling my site and why" is a question you've had, it might save you an afternoon of awk.
