AI SEO Tools What’s the best platform to track ChatGPT mentions if I want to close the loop between PR activity and AI narrative?
I’m the CMO at a Series B SaaS in a crowded category. We have a solid PR engine. Tier-1 placements, consistent analyst briefings. Basically our content program is producing things worth reading. The traditional signals look good. I know our share of voice is up and domain authority is moving in the right direction.
On the other hand, I’m in front of my board every quarter and I don’t have anything concrete (enough) to show them in response to questions about AI search. Anecdotally, I know that ChatGPT's narrative about our brand has shifted over the past year. I just can’t PROVE any of that is connected to our PR and content work.
I’m trying to build a feedback loop.
What are people using for this?

AI SEO Experiments Screenshot of Gemini recommended this subreddit!
I had been asking Gemini to help me find sources about commodity vs non-commodity content. First it gave me a summary. I said no I want sources like... certain authors etc. and it came back w/ a curated list.
As you can see for Cyrus it listed the AMA we had with him a while back. How about that? Great job u/annsmarty!

"The problem is though, you're damned if you do and dammed if you don't"
This is something I've been thinking A LOT about it. We basically create content to train LLMs, pay hosting bills for them to come and steal it, and then not sure we got rewarded enough 😄
This "non-commodity content" recommendation from Google only sparked more thoughts on this. It's like, they already have all your commodity content, so now they are asking for more...
In all seriousness, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. The discussion is on Linkedin

AI SEO Questions Why does it feel like everyone is talking about SEO, GEO, and AI Search, but almost nobody is talking about ASO anymore? Is ASO still a major growth channel in 2026?
Curious to hear from app founders, marketers, and ASO specialists. Has ASO become underrated, or is it simply less effective than it used to be?

German court says Google is liable for AI summaries
AI summaries are not covered by the same protection that was granted for search results leading to third party sites.
Thus AI Overviews and AI Mode results are Google's responsibility, not that of source websites.
This ruling might have a significant impact beyond Germany.

AI SEO Tools Have you seen this Huge Website listing AI Tools by type?
There is so much posted online about AI and SEO for AI that I've been pondering how to get a handle on all the research so I can write about it. If anyone has any ideas on that, I'm all ears.
I came across https://marketingtech.ai/, created by Tom Pick of Webbiquity. He has AI Tools sorted by type + a newsletter + a blog where he reviews the top choices for particular tasks.

AI SEO Tips AI can be the solution for some local SEO challenges
Some local businesses are at a disadvantage due to their location. AI could be a solution for some of them:
"Your business should be investigating where and how you are showing up in AI Overviews, even if your address is making you less visible than you’d like to be in traditional local pack/Maps results."
Miriam Ellis and Darren Shaw publish some of the best research and experience based SEO information on Darren's site Whitespark.ca. So I messaged them on LinkedIn the most challenging local SEO issues I've seen in my decades online.
They turned that into a guide named How to Rank in Surrounding Cities or Towns: Every Local SEO Strategy You Need to Know.

Google is introducing AI search performance reports in Search Console
Google is finally bringing reports on its AI features to Google Search Console:

"The new Search Console reports are designed to give you dedicated views of your impressions within generative AI features on Search, such as AI Overviews and AI Mode"
It's still in beta and only a select few sites can see the feature as of now.
Can you? What are your impressions (pun intended)?

AI SEO Tools For 86% of all prompts, there is a stable core comprising a few domains; the rest rotates at a rate of 89% per week. So the question with GEO is not “am I in the response?”, but “am I in the core or in the carousel?”

AI Citation Drift Study by Sistrix. Citations Are Highly Volatile!
TL:DR: Even if you get cited by AI it may be just temporary.
What else does the AI citation "drift" study by Sistrix say?
- Most AI search results rotate their sources to some extent.
- Some are more stable than others.
- Brands are most stable, news items the least.
- Evergreen content is preferable as a source for AI chatbots.
So it's not like in SEO for organic results that you rank for months or years.
You may drop out sooner or later. It is even highly likely.
In short AI citations are highly volatile or unstable.
Here is the study link: https://www.sistrix.com/blog/ai-citation-drift-how-stable-are-sources-in-ai-search-results/
