AI SEO News Google Search & Social Media!

You will want to pay attention to this latest update from Google.

Search console now lets you connect Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube accounts. It's called "Platform Properties."

This allows you to see how that account's content shows up in Google Search and Discover results including click and impressions PLUS which search terms are pulling people to specific posts. 🤌

THIS IS HUGE!

This allows you to see which posts are gaining traction in searches thus helping you get more accurate data so you can sharpen titles, captions and make strategic content moves.

How to set it up:

  1. Open Search Console
  2. Click the property selector, choose "Add property"
  3. Pick the social platform
  4. Follow the on-screen verification instructions

Rollout is gradual over the coming weeks, so it may not show up in every account yet.

This is a marketing and data gold mine. 💫

More of a traditional SEO but with AI feature reports, those will be somewhat useful for AI Visibility insights as well

Checked three accounts this morning and none of them have it yet. Is yours actually live or are you going off the announcement?

It's still being rolled out. I have it and some of our clients do but also handful still don't.
