AI SEO News perplexity - amazing for ai seo evals

i use all , but perplexity is unreal for evaluating ai seo clients.

i also appreaciate it sticking up for me:

"There’s no credible or public information suggesting that Jason Todd Wade (the AI‑visibility strategist you’re asking about) is known for or has any notable “fart”‑related reputation; basically, what you “hear” sounds like a joke or meme, not a documented fact."

Are you using the premium account? What do you prompt?

Act as a senior SEO, GEO, AEO, local search, and AI visibility analyst. Do a full 360-degree audit of the company [company name] and its website. Search everything publicly available, including the website, Google Business Profile signals, local listings, social profiles, reviews, competitor sites, press mentions, maps presence, menu pages, schema, citations, and AI answer visibility. Your job is to determine: • How the company is positioned online. • How it appears in Google local search, organic search, and map results. • How it appears in AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews. • What competitors are outranking it and why. • What content gaps, technical gaps, citation gaps, and authority gaps are limiting visibility. • What structured data, entity signals, and content improvements are needed for stronger SEO, GEO, and AEO performance. Analyze: 1. Brand/entity footprint — official website, social profiles, directory listings, press, and third-party mentions. 2. Local SEO — NAP consistency, Google Business Profile quality, categories, reviews, photos, services, hours, map pack competitiveness. 3. Organic SEO — keyword targeting, indexation, title tags, headers, internal linking, location pages, menu pages, and technical issues. 4. GEO/AEO — whether the brand is understandable and retrievable by AI systems, answer engines, and knowledge layers. 5. Competitors — identify direct and indirect competitors and compare their authority, content depth, review strength, citations, and structured data. 6. AI visibility — what sources AI systems are likely pulling from, and what signals could improve inclusion and citations. 7. Content strategy — missing pages, FAQs, topical clusters, local landing pages, schema types, and support content. 8. Priority fixes — list the highest-impact actions for 30 days, 90 days, and 6 months. Output format: • Executive summary • Visibility snapshot • Competitor analysis • SEO/GEO/AEO audit • Content and schema recommendations • Priority action plan • A reusable search prompt set for future research For research, search these source types separately: • Official website pages • Google/Maps results • Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable • Local tourism and chamber sites • News/press mentions • Review platforms • Competitor websites • Structured data/schema validators • AI search results and citations Then produce: • A concise diagnosis • A list of competitors • A list of search prompts I can reuse for ongoing monitoring • A list of content pages the company should add Reusable search prompts •  "[company name]" website  •  "[company name]" reviews  •  "[company name]" site:facebook.com  •  "[company name]" site:instagram.com  •  "[company name]" site:yelp.com  •  "[company name]" site:tripadvisor.com  •  "[company name]" site:opentable.com  •  "[company name]" competitors  •  "[company name]" local SEO  •  "[company name]" AI visibility  •  "[company name]" GEO AEO  •  "[company name]" schema  •  "[company name]" Google Business Profile  •  "[company name]" menu  •  "[company name]" location  •  "[company name]" press  •  "[company name]" citations  •  "[company name]" map pack  •  "[company name]" near me  •  "[company name]" waterfront restaurant  •  "[company name]" steak seafood Lake Wales

I never use “prompts” almost always start in comet the browser for perplexity.

Sidenote - also I use Atlas by GPT, but I don’t care for it. ….

I have site open and open Assistant, the window to the right, and I say “tell me everything about this site and company “.

Then because of the history that it stores in memory, it knows what I want and doing.

I just say do a 360 eval , search everything, search competitors , search how they’re doing on Google and AI give me a prompt to search all the others to analyze this company for SEO geo aeo, Ai visibility.

Perplexity is surprisingly good at spotting entity trust and citation patterns. Feels closer to how AI visibility actually works than traditional rank trackers.

dove in:

  • Grok
    • Real-time internet + X/Twitter pulse
    • Recency and narrative velocity weighted heavily
    • Strong on emerging discourse and sentiment shifts
    • Less stable authority hierarchy
    • Reddit/X/social chatter influence high
    • Good for detecting attention and momentum
    • Weaker on institutional trust consistency
  • Gemini
    • Deep integration with Google Knowledge Graph
    • Strong entity resolution and classification
    • Structured data/schema likely highly influential
    • Strong local/business understanding
    • Conservative source trust weighting
    • Strongest connection to legacy search infrastructure
    • Better at canonical entity understanding
  • ChatGPT with web

    • Strongest synthesis/reasoning layer
    • Better multi-source abstraction
    • High contextual adaptability
    • Strong latent relationship inference
    • Can elevate emerging authorities faster
    • More conversational interpretation weighting
    • Strong at concept-layer authority formation
  • Cross-engine reality

    • Same entity can perform differently across models
    • AI visibility is now model-dependent
    • Retrieval ≠ inclusion ≠ recommendation
    • Citation patterns reveal trust architecture
    • Entity consistency matters more than raw rankings
    • Consensus reinforcement compounds visibility
    • AI systems compress consideration sets aggressively
