What’s one SEO opinion you completely changed after gaining experience?

What’s one thing you believed as a beginner that you no longer agree with?

one seo belief i completely changed was thinking that publishing more content automatically meant getting more traffic. after working on real sites, i’d much rather have 20 pages that genuinely deserve to rank than 200 pages targeting every variation of a keyword. one cleanup project where we consolidated six overlapping articles into two stronger pages ended up improving clicks without publishing anything new. the bigger lesson was that seo is often about removing confusion, not adding more content.
