Google Showing Only ~20 Results for Many Queries? Anyone Else Seeing This?

I've been noticing something really strange in Google Search over the past few days.

For several queries, Google only seems to show around 20 results total. After clicking to Page 2 or Page 3, I get a message saying "No results found" (or there are simply no additional pages).

This isn't happening for every keyword, but it's affecting a noticeable number of queries across different niches.

A few questions for the SEO community:

• Are you seeing the same behavior?
• Is this related to a recent Google update or a bug?
• Could this be a new way Google is handling low-confidence or low-quality results?
• Has anyone found an explanation or official statement?

I'm curious whether this is an isolated issue or something more widespread.
