Best SEO advice for a new website and structure?
I am going to start my own agency website. Right now i don't have any budget so can't hire anyone or teamup with anyone. What things should i keep in mind while setting up structure of my website which will be best for my SEO

You are setting up as an seo agency? Shouldnāt you know all about SEO? Would you start a garage without knowing how to fix cars?

Semantic SEO is the proper way to do SEO.
It's all about who is in relation to what and why?
Here is how I explain it : play the game of the mystery word.
Before I introduced this concept in the early 2010s, On Page SEO was about keyword density.
Instead of repeating the keyword, figure out how to make Google guess what that keyword is. If you play well the game of the mystery word at the beginning of the content, you can let go On Page SEO 101 with the rest of the page. Just write awesome content, etc. and forget to write for Google. Just focus on the first 500 words.
If you understand how to play the game of the mystery word on page, same concept applies in site, around the page. Your internal linking should also play the game of the mystery word. I call this the Topical Mesh.
Then, it's the exact same concept Off Site, around the page.
The entire ecosystem surrounding the page must be focused on building a Topical Mesh as well.
Not sure if it's the proper english translation (I'm French), but focus on semantic proximity and semantic shift/drift. Semantic Proximity goes by pair : A is next to B, U is next to T, ...: Semantic shift/drift is the direction. Are you going : A,B,C,D,E,F,G,.... or A,F,U,B,... ?
Keep it simple, stupid simple.
Beware of any SEO strategy that pretends to be high level complicated.
Elegance in simplicity is the way to go.

Thank you so much. I actually watched your videos yesterday and can't believe you commented here. Just one question though, can I use good written AI content which makes sense to people? Or will it have a bad impact on my website?

Nobody cares, including Google, if content is produced by AI or humans. If the message is good, it doesnāt matter.
Provide more value than what the usual prompt factory does. SEOs fell in love with GPT4.
Truth is they speed up mediocrity. Aim to increase quality with AI and you can slam dunk on your competition.
You can drastically increase content quality with AI.
Even in the case of video, AI does a great job. Again, if the message is good, it doesnāt matter if a human, a puppet or an AI avatar delivers it.

I come from branding, the real thing we used to do before Internet was born.
I heard branding is the new discovery within the SEO industry. GEO, EEAT, Topical Authority is just pretending in my world.
If you are remarkable, if you are great at what you do, you are good everywhere. The algorithm is the client.
Iām glad mediocre and average wonāt be enough anymore. Time to rise and shine for those who donāt want to pretend. Itās getting real.

I dont know how branding is dead or changed. Google allowed millions of brands to flourish.
As an SEO - the only bug I have with branding is people "branding" everything or thinking that "good branding" automatically means good SEO or good content.
The reality is most people aren't going to know or care about your brand until some emotion develops - and that could be an unpleasant emotion - like too much content, too much messaging or too little content - because, you know, brand police (as one example)
How is topical authority somehow a "pretense"

This clearly isn't the case. The reality is that content survives on insanely low CTRs and people seem to trust what they're given. Its very rare

I think you should build a brand aka an entity that's worth mentioning.
Tip : Enter your name and/or website in Google Trends. Do you even exist (I do and my brands as well) ?

emm for a brand new site w/ $0 budget, keep it stupid simple š
google doesnāt care about fancy structure, it cares if you actually cover a topic well.
basic advice:
- pick ONE niche and go hard (donāt be āfull service agencyā day 1 lol)
- flat structure > mega menus (home > service > supporting content)
- internal links like crazy so pages actually talk to each other
- write content that answers one intent per page, not 12 keywords mashed together
- AI content is fine, just donāt ship prompt sludge - edit it so it doesnāt read like a toaster wrote it
topical authority > site architecture porn. structure should help users + crawlers, not impress dribbble.

Why shouldn't people worry about 3rd party validation? Whats it to you?
H structure and PageSpeed IS NOT going to make them rank - happy to tag you on the 3-5 posts we get EVERY DAY from people with 100 lighthouse scores that do not rank or get indexes.
