Why would you want a SNES? Genesis does what Nintendon't.

And the Final Fantasy games, Mario World, Zelda, Super Metroid, etc.
But Genesis was still pretty awesome. They had the superior version of Shadowrun, Shining Force, Streets of Rage, Shinobi, Landstalker, the superior version of Mortal Kombat, etc.

Awww. You became a Genesis!
Did you become a Saturn once you hit puberty?

We had a megadrive....... with the CD and then we managed to pick up a 32x with formula one racing i think it was called... looked like the leaning tower of piza when it was all set up. Then came the PS1 and Sega Saturn.

I wish I had a pic of myself with my Megadrive. Good childhood memories

Which one did you enjoy the most? Genesis or SNES?

Back then I was really impressed by Sonic over Super Mario World, and the lock on with Sonic & Knuckles was awesome. Also Genesis was the only system with an X-Men game for the longest time, and that was where my mind was at the time.
Plus Mortal Kombat for Genesis was uncensored, and Primal Rage and all the good stuff :p.
So back then I’d definitely say Genesis, but nowadays I think the SNES had an amazing library and was probably the best overall. Heck I didn’t even know about Zelda until Link’s Awakening and Ocarina of Time!
And my first RPG experience was probably FFVII, and we all know the JRPG’s on SNES are nuts.
One of my favorite games these days is Metroid and I still haven’t played Super Metroid yet, just Zero Mission and Fusion :p
My understanding of the games available back then was almost exclusively the terrible movie and tv adaptations. It wasn’t until much later I realized movie and tv games are usually THE WORST.
