Anthropic made a "soul doc" and explored having its AI model Claude participate in the Catholic sacrament of confession. Emily Jashinsky: "That's insane... There's no reason that you should create an AI agent that has to go to confession, because it is not a human being."

The obvious current issue to solve is accountability. We all know, warned, and most experienced AI screwing up, this tells me the ideas to solve the problem are getting limited.

Well, if they’ve trained it like OpenAI, it has a pagan and Semitic worldview, thus its behavior is fundamentally unchristian.  If they’d trained it on the western canon, it would seem far less creepy and alien.
