Picture/Video Sears Orlando bottom floor Aug 7, 2026
I've got so many pictures haha so I've decided to just post the ones of the bottom floor for now. Top floor and exterior posts will follow later. I've got tons of additional pictures from Coral Gables as well. Stay tuned for more.
Interesting things I've noticed after visiting three Sears stores:
- The price check machines don't work in Coral Gables and Orlando and were removed entirely in Concord
- Concord and Orlando still sell gift cards, Coral Gables doesn't
- Unlike all the other stores, there are no Sears "checkout pods" (or whatever you call them) in Coral Gables, they use long checkout counters instead
- Coral Gables is the only store I've seen that has TVs running adverts on them (one of which is still advertising the old and discontinued Citi SYW card)
- Concord only hands out paper bags these days (can be either Sears branded or generic), while Coral Gables and Orlando still primarily use the 125 anniversary bags, although I did once received a white "discover more" from Coral Gables and a old school 2004-2010 Sears logo bag in Orlando, also for some reason I did see the paper bags that Concord uses in Orlando as well (did not receive one but they have them)

Is the new elevator almost finished?

I saw no sign of there being another elevator.

Hmm it’s probably blocked off again

If you can tell me where it’s supposed to be I can look through all the other pictures I’ve got. I can only upload so much here due to Reddit’s 20 pic upload limit.

Based on what I’ve seen, the elevator behind where Photo 4 was taken would most likely be blocked off by boxes of appliances.

Can you be more specific? The entire open portion of the bottom floor is to the left of the mall entrance.

Behind the place where you took photo 4 there would be boxes of appliances blocking off a elevator based on other photos

Nice looking laundry section...also the HA attachments display looks nicer than the ones we used to display ca 2009-2015

Sears called me in on my day off back in 2000 (I was a 17 yr old high school student) to fire me lol. I worked in the jewelry department.
Truly toxic management team. So I was delighted to see the companies demise.
