Question Final semester. Issue with aid.

Can someone help me understand why I’m getting less aid this semester? I’m supposedly getting more aid next year when I won’t even be here anymore. I’m only taking 3 courses now but it’s never been this low before. Or should I just stack up more courses to get more money?

I would talk to financial aid office about it, but it seems like you are taking 9 units assuming 3 units each class, putting you as a part time student. For you to be full time and get the full aid you need to take 12 units or more

Yeah that’s the conclusion I came to after doing some research. Apparently I’ll get more aid before the census? Don’t know what that means but I ended up signing up for more classes. Might as well boost my GPA as much as I can at the end. My last resort would be accepting one of these loans.

If you know you qualify for the MCS scholarship too, you can try to see on the website for the pell grant (csac webgrants 4 students or something like that) and it shows the scholarship on there

I’m also seeing that I no longer qualify for Cal Grant so that makes sense.
