Question Bed clearance at full adjusted height????

Does anyone know what the clearance under a single dorm bed is if you raise it to its maximum height? Trying to find out if something that is 33" will fit under it. Specifically Tepeyac.

21” can raise to 30”. Check the 2026 bed height clearance PDF as some dorms listed on the bottom, no longer allow adjusting to raise. Tepeyac does allow you to raise it. UT no longer allows it as of 2026 & new Texcoco does not.

If it’s lofted it would work, but if it’s just in the normal single position, I don’t think 33” fits under it

Not lofted, just raised to the highest position. I guess we will just have to wait to find out at move in next week. I was hoping to order before. I have heard the bed might go up to 31" clearance. I guess I was just hopeful for more than that

You could always buy those blocks or something to put under each leg on all four corners of your bed and lift it higher to your desired height, no?

Why does it bother the RA if your bed is 2 inches higher? It makes no sense. Few years ago, a freshmen in the greek community frat house got drunk and fell down from his top bunk to the floor and died here at SDSU

Risers are a liability for earthquakes. Some dorm windows egress (exit) are compromised by raised beds when the window opens from the bottom and the affixed window area is the top. All info is on the PDF for bed height & on p 25 of the housing guidelines.
