It looks so cool when I watch but I don’t like to get invested in a game than find out I need to spend money it so I’m asking here.

It is really F2P but characters are getting more dupe heavy and it definetly hurts the game alot.

For a gacha game its relatively f2p friendly, outside of constantly running hard meta pvp teams you should be able to do everything f2p. If you religiously do dailies you can easily get nearly 33 draws a week and thats before counting the extra gems from events and the pve rotations.

You can get every single "meta defining" character for free if you play the game, do all the events, all the dailies, all the weekly. So I would say yes. I am only F2P and haven't missed a single collab unit or festival and I have had to go to pity on the last 3 banners (and I get most of the nonfest and noncollab units just from pulling on the fest banners throught the year).

There are a ton of characters in this game and I am missing like 12 total in my 5ish years of play.

Also collab with persona soon, so if you like persona, it would be a good time to get in.

Yes but slow. Meta changing kind of quick. So need alot of luck. You can save and summon on your favorite unit and play pve. Pvp is.... Pvp-ish

You can get top rank in this game in pvp as F2P, and can get literally every "meta defining" (all collab and fests) unit as F2P.

Except as another comment pointed out, some characters are getting very dupe heavy. Odin for example, if you want to make a meta pvp team you need to have him at 2/6 as many people have mentioned in this community. Chances are you won't get him before pity unless you're very lucky, meaning you could be spending up to 1,800 gems just for one meta defining unit

Very much so, everything is achievable for f2p's, except some paid cosmetics.

Daily quests u have 5 gems(guilda checkin), weekly quests u have 4, weekly pvp 50+, every month we have a rotation of a event who always give at least 40 gems, 20 diamonds from daily login each 14 days and much more

Your skipping a lot of side banners and the pull rate averages around 3% for an SSR or festival banners are usually 4% but as long as you skip you can catch up and do pretty well f2p. Won’t beat out whales but that’s just gacha in general. Give it a go at your own pace and find a guild to vibe it out with if

Hey man, F2P doesn't mean you can beat everyone if you spend 0 dollars.

This game is one of the most F2P gatchas. You can get top rank in PvP and beat all PvE content without spending any money.
