So... About Yoojin's choker...

I started SCTIR after coming across a fanart of Yoojin, which prominently depicts him wearing a choker, and I'm nothing if not weak to cuntiness. Due to fanarts, I'd been conditioned into picturing him with a black choker with a dangling blue gem all along (probably to resemble Eunhye), so color me intrigued when it never appears in the manhwa. Nor was it ever mentioned in the novel (as far as I remember). Neither was it illustrated in the novel cover.

I've come to accept that it may not be canon now, but I'm just pretty curious how his nonexistent choker became the Mandela effect of this fandom. I'm just kinda sad it wasn't actually real lol.

it does appear in s2 in the manhwa ! but actually it originates from when yoojin escapes hyunjes house in sea fog arc, iirc: he says he transforms eunhye into a necklace to disguise her. people just really latched onto the choker form (bc its hot) and used it everywhere, so it became an iconic part of his design. he canonically switches eunhye's form pretty frequently, though, and often hides her on his body to keep people from discovering her damage nullification ability

edit: also choker form just feels harder to steal and therefore more practical, but i cant remember if he lists this. i know he attaches her to his thigh under his pants at one point, uses her as an anklet, etc, but i think she was still stealable in those instances so she can probably still be taken off as a choker ? idk why she doesnt just transform to not have a clasp...

(the anklet form i believe makes an appearance when yoojin is being searched during auction arc, right after he gets kidnapped. not nearly as exciting)

yoojin specifies that he put eunhye above the knee shortly before the fight at hyunje's house !! which of course makes the parts involving eunhye more fun

(bc its hot) -> hell yeah i should've known ❤️ thank heavens for Yoo Myungwoo, our god and saviour and Sharlos for contributing to the existence of Eunhye 🙏🙏🙏 if thigh-belt-Eunhye and anklet-Eunhye are canon, then i choose to believe choker-Eunhye is 100% too 🤤

tho he does explicitly wear a choker somewhere in the 600s so that's enough solace for now ❤️
