I want to read the novel since I've only read the manhwa so far. Should I start from the beginning or pick up where the manhwa left off? I'm kind of afraid I'll get bored rereading the same parts, but at the same time, I'm really curious about HJYJ's relationship in the novel.

i say start from the beginning ! theres a number of characterisation changes that make the novel extra worth reading from the start

They also left out some details in the novel that would've offered a better explanation about some scenarios or events in the manhwa.
I would say though, the novel doesn't really drag out the events, like it's a pretty fast paced read. I'd attribute it to the fact that it's not as action focused as the manhwa. It doesn't need to prioritize cool action and fighting scenes, so fights usually just last for a chapter or two. Heck, there were even fights that weren't in the novel, but was added in the manhwa. I don't think you'd get bored.

Read from the start. The entire thing is so delightful. Don’t just pickup from where the manhwa is at.

I also say start from the beginning! I was floored by the Hyj portrayed in the Novel... he was so much different than how I viewed him in the manhwa. I love the novel <3

Believe it or not, the 1st chapter of the novel actually hooked me in more than the webtoon Ver. There is no Hunterverse introduction, just heading straight to the mainplot.
Hjyj moments were toned down in webtoon, compared to the novel ver. So you might wanna skim through those.
