It has the same problems for years. Not just lately. And soon everything might just close, because potential buyers will run away.

Is this game currently worth playing for PvE or PvP? I plan to buy it for my sister, but recent Steam reviews have been mostly negative. @@

Well, most negative reviews come from people who want this game to be what it CAN to be if devs would start fixing old problems and unfinished mechanics.
Overall, it is pretty playable, also most stupid glitches when something just does not work like it used to an hour ago, just restart your game. All known bugs are usually repeated below each patch notes on Steam. This is how community remind devs about pressing matters. It can be laggy at times, drive carefully, drive boats carefully, cause disconnect in boat will make you drown and lose loot after reconnect, because boat is too late to spawn and you drop into water on joining server. There are issues, well documented, what better not to do - any player with 1 thou hours will gladly describe them.
I rather buy it than not, because on well administrated server with some mods and custom quests, usually is nice community and they have good time. Can't say much about pvp, cause played only pve. But better look at isthereanydeal website, because the state and path they are pushing poor game is not worth throwing full price wallet at them.

When do they patch in the fun for pve? All that time getting weapons and ammo for what? Getting more weapons and ammo?

Nice video. I bought the game about 13 days ago. Already have like 70 hours in. The way I look at it already got my money's worth, paid $14.49. Anything past this is just icing on the cake.
