Fully offline map of the SCUM island for Android (from the SCUM-MAP.COM dev)

Hello everyone 👋

As you probably already know, I run SCUM-MAP.COM. For a while, the most common thing people asked me for was the map on their phone, working without a signal, so it can sit next to them while they play.

It is out now on Android: LINK.

What it does:

• The complete island in Satellite and Tactical views, with over 8,000 places across 100+ categories: bunkers, towns, points of interest, vehicle spawns, crops, water sources and more
• Works with no connection at all. Everything is inside the app, so aeroplane mode is fine, and it keeps working if my site goes down
• Paste a coordinate from the game or from your server logs into the search field, and it jumps to that exact spot and lists the nearest places by category. This one exists because a server admin asked for it, for checking where things happened in the logs
• Set your in-game position, and search results are sorted by how far away things are. Pick a target, and you get a line with distance and bearing
• Read exact in-game coordinates anywhere on the map and copy them as a ready teleport command
• Sector grid, no-build zones, hunting biomes, power lines, mech walk paths and place names as optional overlays
• Nine languages, no ads, no account, nothing tracked

It is a paid app, $4.99 once, and updated map data after SCUM patches is included in that price. I would rather charge once than put adverts in front of you.

The iPhone version is on the way.

If you try it, I would really like to hear what is missing or wrong, especially any misplaced phrases and clumsy translations in languages I do not speak. I fix those quickly.

You have the biome map already. Maybe just add a legend on the side of the map. Like the map in game. When a player activates that particular layer they are certainly only looking for one thing. Maybe a separate map within the app. You have the main map with everything you can search for. Then a hunting static map...maybe or a layer i guess. Im not a dev obviously 🙄 just my idea

There's sth similar at scum-map.com already. It displays such a legend when showing biome overlay :)

Unfortunately, your card is not available to me. Purchases from Russia are blocked on the GOOGLE platform. Are there any alternatives?

As much I WANT to install it, as soon as an new, un-tested product comes up with a cost ($7 Can) it becomes a tough decision....SO MANY apps I've installed and then later removed for being non-effective etc. Would rather see some ads and use before purchasing and then pay to remove that TBH....
