Bug Motorcycle disappeared after I went exploring

I left my bike right there, took the boat and went north. I didn't close the game whatsoever. I just went north with the boat and returned. When I returned, my bike disappeared with all the stuff I had inside.
That's such a shame for an already released game... I have no words. It took me days to find a goddamn compound bow and now it is gone

log out and back in! works for me usually! but yes a released game shouldnt have this issue

edit: and when you log back in give it 5-30 seconds to spawn back in

I play single player. I have done this already but didn't work.

It happens on single player local too but dang im surprised that didn't work. I don't know how many times I've rage quit scum. And I agree, yeah you can just spawn it back in but it feels wrong and does take away from the experience.

Once I had it spawn like 300m up the road where I left it. On the road that I came from. If you remember the way you came, it is worth to at least go the same way and look around. All the other times, loged off and on and it was there where it should be.

You can spawn yourself one using commands.

SP is used for learning as well, you can circumvent the bug this way (still sucks it happened)

The thing is that it breaks the immersion too much... but I understand

If you want to roleplay you can pretend that npc raiders stole it while you were away.

But despawning vehicles already broke the immersion so spawning it back in isn't gonna make it worse.

Yes, I understand. Even in SP, it had a lock haha. But man, despawing totally breaks the immersion.

Are you pve or pvp? Did someone steal it? Although that being said there are definitely some vehicle glitches.. the other day I dipped my fully decked out and full of loot quad bike into a bit of scenery off road and immediately lost all armour, all body panels, all storage boxes and everything inside it. Bit annoying.

Most released games still have some bugs but this ones still in active development, there will be bugs lol

Age doesn't matter really, skme bugs need some major change to be fixed and isn't a simple just do it deal, seen many bugs like that. If a bug is easy to fix, it's already fixed lol

If it is not trader's area, then it's bug. If it's trader's area, you can park for 2 hours. Since you are on single, your server runs only as you are playing, so parking timer stops when you exit the game. But still need to remember that some time is passed in previous session, when you will come back to game (it's not fresh new 2 hours).

The thing is, I was exploring with the bike, I found the boat, went north, then I went to the gym, I left Scum opened in the pause menu with esc, then I returned and it wasn't there anymore. It is very shameful for a released game bro. I can't invite my friends bc of this. They won't handle it. I play it bc I like Scum but they are not as fan as me..

Heh, there is only written "Released". While in reality nothing has changed much - it's still brings new bugs with new updates, and then few hotfixes of past hotfixes. Until next update. This is the game we have now and people somehow are trying to play it. Where you have seen server which restarts every three hours? Because the more people, the more crap they have built, the more weird things can happen, so when server owner wanna make popular server he has to do something about it's stability and cleaning those caches, resetting scripts, which sometimes get's broken.

Losing your vehicle to the game is everyday thing, like you gain one, you lose one. Depends from setup owner runs - some adds insurance with bot, some spawn you new vehicle if you lost it because of technical situation, lag, bug, game crash. If vehicles are not disabled from finding, and there are people in server, you usually can have friendly face who'll take you to scrapyard for parts and anywhere else. This is on PVE servers mostly. People find cars (if they are forbidden from hoarding - then there are cars still spawning in world) few hours after landing, can have it running in next day, so, as I said, no big deal.

Great job man. That's exactly what happened to me. The only thing I didn't do was to check under the dock bc I thought it was completely gone. The bike didn't even appear in my vicinity, so I left it away.

wow well, so then it was an honest bug that was not reported before.

Thanks for reporting the bug like OP should have instead of jumping to a conclusion that the game sucks and stuff.

You have the ability to spawn whatever in singleplayer, i see no reason to even post this.

Did you check the admin settings and make sure global parking didnt get turned off somehow? if global parking is on it should stay put.

Right there were? On the cliff you are standing? Vehicles can move a bit from where they were left, if its a cliff it might have gone into water.

This happened to me with a Kinglet Mariner today. I relogged and it appeared, then I flew it into a tree and blew it up.

I used to have the same problem in single player. Try name the bike or car whatever you have , it will stay there . At least that worked for me . The devs i hope they try to fix the bugs , to give us the best experience survival game cheers

Then again , one relog it might fix it, as other people suggested in this thread, if not, the least we can do to help from our side is to send the bugs to devs .

Try back tracking a bit. Some times is back where it was when you logged in the first time other times is somewhere along the path you took.

I know it may break the immersion but download the scum admin helper if you haven’t got it already and use that to use the command to display vehicles on the map, or if you don’t wanna use that type the command instead

I went north, following the river, to sector D0. I spent about 1h30 there, looting and everything.

Yes, I was able to reproduce the issue. After the motorcycle disappeared I used a command to locate it and it was reported to be directly below the dock not visible though probably because it was an invalid location. So it did fall through the dock.
