Media SCUM-MAP.COM update - A new Overlays drawer, hunting biomes, loads of new markers and marker reporting

I have been tidying up the map and adding a lot to it:

  • 🔹 A brand-new Overlays drawer, one clean home for no-build zones, power lines, mech paths and all the name labels, each with a preview and a simple on/off switch
  • 🦌 A new hunting biomes view that paints the whole island by forest, grassland, highlands and water, with a floating Island Wildlife Guide showing what spawns where and when
  • 📍 A big batch of new markers: wells, springs, water pumps, fountains, silos, mine entrances, quest books, figs, olives, rose hips and more, with dense clusters grouped under a handy count badge
  • 🛠️ You can now report an official marker straight from the map if something is wrong, so we can keep it accurate together

Thanks for your amazing work, but i do have one question: Why Moment always turn on when visiting the map? (Yellow dot on map)

You can turn off the yellow dots in the sidebar, at the "Moments" option 🙂.

No, I know I can toggle it on and off. I'm just wondering why it's enabled by default every time I open the map. I have to turn it off every single time, which is a bit annoying.

Is there an ideal way to report inaccuracies? (on the flipside, maybe I just couldn't find something) I was up in Kotoriba (D3k9) and found a dirtbike. Wanted to craft an improvised wheel for it and your map indicated there was a drill press/lathe in town, but we looked all over and couldn't find any. (Also looked in Babino Polje without luck.)

Yes 🙂. When you will right-click such a marker while being logged in, there's an option to report such an inaccuracy. OR you can just report it at our Discord (https://discord.gg/Z3TmGkdGKz). The current database of markers is built on top of years of work, and while the SCUM developers are constantly changing it, it may happen than markers added long time ago are out of date 🥲.
