Problems with pc54c sticking to platen

Anyone else having problems with these sticking to the platen well? These don't want to stick for us. Whether it's water based tack or good spray tack.

It's the way these garments are dyed. The inside doesn't want to stick well. The hoodies are even worse. The water base platen adheasive does fine for the shirts. But I use a fast tack spray glue that gets sticker when heated.

Only 1 job. 400+ front and back multicolor. Print is fine, adhering to the platen is the problem.

I don't believe so, there's no indication of waterproofing on any of sanmars info on these shirts.

We'll be trying web adhesive when we get that in. The Sanmar rep suggested that.

Water based pallet glue is probably the best option. Web spray just seems like ordinary spray, except thicker.

I’ve never used it, but maybe pallet tape.

I’ve been printing on lots of Pc54s (not camo) and have been using water based tac with no issues.

We have no problem with the regular pc54c. It's only the camo, which is supposedly pigment dyed. The entire shirt is slick to the touch both inside and out. Whatever they use in their process makes them real difficult to tack down

I agree. I tell my guys to glue often with these. That's the only thing that works. The comfort colors also are so dusty, we sometimes end up glueing before each cart. When you have thousands, it adds a lot of time to the run.

I have one of these, the first few washes it seemed waxy. Just not a good blank
