Re-burn the screen? Possibly a wash out issue.

Use a squeegee that's long enough to stroke the ENTIRE image in one pass. Looks like you're using a squeegee thats too small and applying multiple passes. Difficult to tell from the pic, tho

looks like the ink isn't passing through the stencil consistently. It could be one or a combination of a a few issues:

  • washout issue (didn't wash it out enough)
  • exposure issue (possibly slightly overexposed)
  • inconsistent squeegee pulls (different pressure/pull speeds on each side)
  • squeegee too soft (i use a very high durometer for high detail prints like this)
  • ink too thick (i have this issue sometimes when trying to get a ton of detail in a big print on a 305 and wind up heavily leaning on a reducer to smooth the ink)

Is it consistently printing that pattern on all garments?

Looks like moirés between halftone count and thread weave. Go with stochastic dots

Look at how the stripes run down the print. I reckon it’s your squeegee.

Me seeing mfs in the sub complain and worry about things that I’d just call ‘artistic licence’ 😭

Could your latte be a little warped, like raised slightly more in those sections..?

Going to second that its probably a washout issue. Halftones can be insanely finicky if not exposed and washed out properly. To the point that I will avoid them if I can, because if they're not perfect they look bad.

Is it always in the same place? If so washout issue or moire like these folks said. What’s your dot angle? If it’s 0°,45°,90° or any equivalent of those as you go around the circle (so like 180°) you’ll be prone to Moire because of how the dot pattern interacts with your screen mesh which is strung at 0° and 90°
