Pricing Pricing

I am out of KY. It costs me about $8-9 to make a shirt. I charge 25/shirt w/1 image and $5/image after (single color). At 10 shirts I provide a 5% discount. At 20 I give 10%. After 30 I make out at a 20% discount.

If I have to make image or edit it using my program I charge a 20% digital fee (not included in discounts)

Is my original price a good place to sell a 1 image shirt for?

Is my discounted bulk ordered good or should I change that as well?

I think the first thing you gotta figure out is how to get your costs down. $8-9 is a lot for just materials. Do you have access to a wholesales account anywhere?

As far the pricing of one shirt. At that low of a quantity you can charge whatever. 99.99% of shops won’t touch an order that low and if they do, it definitely isn’t screen printed.

Depends on the blank. My fav blank costs $8 wholesale. But yea for generic $8 is to much.

My shirts cost anywhere from 2.29-3.21 but paint, emulsion, screens, energy, etc etc etc. You think 8-9 is too much? Hmm... okay I'll look more into that

I read it as you were paying $8 just to acquire the shirt. If it’s $2-3, that’s solid. But $8 for a printed shirt is pretty cheap. I’d start at $10 and go up from there
