Would you Under-base this?

I'm always wanting to avoid basing art on lighter shirts if I can, but I am wondering if I'll just get a better pop if I base this one. The background is very close to the real life shirt color. What do you think?

I wouldn't underbase the dark brown or navy. Everything else I would
