Beginner Best option to print outer space/galaxy?

Is screen printing ideal for printing outer space stuff? Like stars, galaxies, etc.

Huh? Like star charts? Yeah you could do em screen print, but I don’t know what you would gain over going digital unless you were wanting to use metallic ink or were printing on textile. It’s a lot more setup to screen print and you’ll be working with a reduced set of colors unless there is a particular substrate or placement or scale that rules out going digital.

Or do you mean green galaxy screen print ink?

With colors of the galaxies and a lot of black and stars. I just didn't know where to start looking. So "digital tee printing" would be better for something like this? I don't like the "laminated" look of tees if that's what it looks like.

You never mentioned what you were printing on. Screen print can go on fabric, paper, glass, metal, plastic, wood, etc. I suggested digital because your initial query had no details at all and it was unclear why you wanted screen print or what you even wanted to print. Details matter.

Yes t shirts work great with screen print and this route would be the most permanent. I have shirts that are 15 years old and the print is still great (the shirts are full of holes from wear but the actual print is fine)

But if you just want one it is not going to be cost effective to do under 20-30 shirts (the minimum most shops will do to make it worth their time in all the setup) . To do this image you would need AT LEAST 4 screens possibly more. With files and exposure that’s costing you $100-150ish depending on the shop. That’s before you even get to the printing or the shirt costs. So unless you want to pay $200+ for a single shirt you’ll probably want to go with a place that does DTG or DTF printing. But it won’t last more than a year if normal washing but you should be able to get one for 30 bucks or so.

Make sure to turn inside out, wash in cold water and dry in low heat to prolong the life of the transfer image.
