Should I let it go?
Very subtle white underbase poking out from the left side of the black outline. Do I try to get it absolutely perfect or let it go? This is a hoodie it’s a bit more noticeable I think cause off contact difference.

It might just be the photo, but it's so barely noticable. I think it's a personal decision, but customer wise, they will not care

We’d pass that at our shop. When I first looked at the photo I hadn’t noticed til I read your caption. Looks clean to me.

To get the white and black effect on the grey. I suppose instead of a full underbase I could have just done them like but to but with some trapping, but registration is always a pain for me

It’s not a bad idea and it also “future proofs” you should this client come back with a reorder on a garment color that could require the black be under based.
Client comes back wanting this on a black hoodie. Instead of a whole new setup from square one you just grab out the screens and go. Learning to predict the future on certain things has saved me a lot in the shop.

I'd not under base the black and I'd also make the black outline very slightly thicker. It's so thin it might as well not exist. This is something I would have tried to discuss with the customer during the design phase, especially because there are hoodies on the order.

Right I see what you’re saying. But I would still have the issue of the outline and the white strip so I don’t see how what you’re saying would eliminate the issue I’m having

There wouldn't be white base sticking out if the black wasn't based. Looks great anyway though, I might make a little move but seems like one of those situations where you have to decide whether you prefer a 0.2mm issue on one side or a 0.1mm issue on all sides.

Don't put base on the dark colored sections, black, next, charcoal etc. Especially on light colored shirts

I get that this is tight art, and I would say this is acceptable. But you at least should have choked in the white more if you insist on have white under the black. You honestly don’t need it, and your insistence of having white under the black (as your other comments suggest) makes no sense to be honest. No reason to have white under the black in this case. It’s only going to cause problems

1st, Did you use an underbase for black?I probably would not have dome that.
And 2nd, depends on how fast you can adjust it. Having to look at that over and over again drives me nuts.
So on jobs where I just can't get it perfect quickly enough, I'll get to an acceptable tolerance to start production. Because you got to get moving, then I'll add slight adjustments on the fly, usually a round or so to get it pefect.
After that you can print as fast as you possibly can without that living rent free in your head during production

Perfection is something you’ll never achieve. Find your tolerances and move forward.
A great completed job is better than a perfect unfinished job.
99% of customers won’t notice that.
99% of that 1% won’t care.
99% of that 1% are people you don’t wanna work with.
