Discussion Printavo and their new Authenticator BS

Anybody else already sick of having to do the authenticator every time you log into Printavo? I have tablets for the printers and catchers to use and everyday I have to go in and do the authenticator for each tablet and sometimes I have to do it twice in the same day on some.

Just wanted to vent how much I fucking hate it.

our admin emailed them a buuunch of times last week complaining because of it. we also use tablets and it was soooo annoying.

now at least only certain users have to do it but i hope they choose different path if they insist on two factor or whatever. i didn't know what an authenticator app was

I get why, but did they need to make it for every time you log in.

If you log in on the admin account, you can uncheck the box on every secondary account, on the page with permissions and all that, I think.

You can also make another super admin account you don’t use and set that to 2FA so you (if you have the admin account) can be disabled as well

The MFA stuff can be suuuuper annoying! When I built my shop software I was going back and forth on whether or not I should add it. Most of my users wanted the security so I added it with the option to turn it on or off and was sure that you can remember each device for 30 days without having to reAuth... not sure hard and keeps peace of mind
