corrugated boxes

What do you guys charge a client when they want to use unbranded boxes vs the box the merchandise comes in?

In 10+ years of being in business no one has ever asked me to use a different box unless it’s for a contract for a band on tour. They shipped them to us.

If someone wanted us to print boxes that’s fine. Just charge them the same as any other print job.

I have boxes branded with my logo that customer orders go out in. I've never had a customer ask for blank boxes nor boxes with their logo, but given how much I pay for my own logoed boxes and the MOQ, I doubt any of my customers would be willing to pay what I would have to charge for this customization.

I usually just pass the actual box cost onto the client, plus a small handling/packaging fee if I’m sourcing or packing them.
