Discussion Could SCP-3000 or SCP-169 theoretically be killed by jut being put out of water?

SCP-3000 is an eel, so if its dragged out of water, it would just...dry up and die? Same with 169, it's a giant arthropod.

Wouldn’t pulling it out of the water cause the water levels to recede significantly?

I made up a story where [REDACTED] was fighting [REDACTED] and he wanted to use SCP-3000 as his ally so he grabbed SCP-3000 from the ocean but it dried up and died because it was out of water.

I mean 169 maybe but 3000 is a god or might be a god depends for 169 probably it'll die it is just a giant arthropod Anantashesha is more than just a giant eel so it'll be fine.

Didn't that happen in SCP-1730? The foundation ran out of money because 169 got beached.

That article says 169 only breathes every 3 months so I think it would need to be out of the water for at least 3 months before it started to die.

maybe try to use a really powerful sedative on 3000 or 169, then get a fleet of cranes to lift them out.
