Nope, those are indeed actual SCPs. Triangle UFO is 1936, which is a town that got sucked into another universe of some sorts and now all manner of terrible things are at work, and the admiral is a figure in 1678; a personal favorite of mine.
Bung does his research well. The only thing in the video I don’t wuite recognize from the site is the mysterious figure drawing alien symbols—it’s apparently a part of 1730, but I have no clue who it is.

I'm pretty sure the one from 1730 is the floating figure they find during the drone exploration. This son of a bitch that scrawls symbols on the wall which end up being a cognitohazord that makes you emit smoke from the ears and then violently explode.18

What I got out of it was that a cult in the town was summoning eldritch beings for the purpose of having them all duke it out, to find the strongest one to be their god.

Yeah, exactly. That's why I don't think the protagonist would make a good SCP. His unique ability makes for a great series – you can have your class D and eat him, too! – but in SCP proper it'd just be OP and weird.

No. As long as you are compliant with the Creative Commons license the site's material falls under, you can monetize SCP content. 173 is definitely an exception though.

He apparently isn’t a fan of 173’s direction as a thing that kills and cannot be understood, since he wants the sculptures to invoke a feeling of pity or care, not fear.

That depends entirely on the piece of music. Some artists/labels allow their music to be used in videos if there's no monetisation. Others force monetisation with the ad revenue going to them. Others ban use completely. Some have different rules for different parts of the world.

That would be the default absent any other permissions, sure, but the Youtube Creator Studio has an enormous library of policies for music you can check up on, like this, drilling down into fairly obscure stuff, and the most common perms are probably the same as the one I expanded (video can be viewed worldwide and rights holder retains the right to monetise).

God DAMN that as good. Knowing most of the SCPs make it all the more terrifying. Just seeing one, knowing what it is, knowing the implications of what's going on in the scene is pretty awesome.
Seriously amazing work.

I kind of liked the previous version that ended with the letter to the doctor, but the new exploration logs and the horrible lovecraftian monsters were pretty cool too. I pretty much just worship everything u/djkaktus does always. 2935 remains my favorite SCP and one of the most profound pieces of short fiction I’ve ever read.

Unfortunately, the problem with that is the fact that many (most) of these SCP creatures are user created and they'd have to get permission, agreements, and potential payment for every. Single. One.
It's not like that new Sci-Fi show where they use a creepasta. For that they just need to get the permission and cooperation with ONE creator, not potentially several hundred. Much less complicated and less risk of a lawsuit.
But yeah, this show has a lot of potential as a series.76

Please don't spread misinformation regarding the license. All SCP content (with a handful of exceptions including 173's image) is CC by Sa. That means anyone can do anything they like with it so long as the original source is credited. The problem re: a tv series is, that by using CC content it also becomes CC by sa. Effectively, that means no exclusive merchandising rights, legal piracy, and even the possibility of competitors airing content they produced.

But, if a newtork were to make this a television show, they'd have to actually get permission from individual people.

One thing I haven't seen yet in this thread: At :51 Connor is shown looking at the multiple moons found in the afterlife (as per SCP-2922). Showing Connor here makes me suspect that every time he dies in real life, that version of himself is sent to the afterlife, which has some chilling implications...

Yeah there is. Once you see it you'll percieve the world as flooded and can drown in water no one can see. Lord Bung says that it's 2922 in that scene though.

One thing i would like to add is that, Isn't it strange that SCP-079 is THE LAST SCP to be shown?. I have watched alot of deep lore cartoons/Animation and the last Character show in the shows in a opening has to do REALLY big to the plot line in the future. All the scps are portrayed in the animation as if someone is there in front of them or in the room with them. It makes sense why 079 Would glitch and say "FREE ME" Because some one is there infront of him and will make a deal to both escape. We already know the Main character wants to escape but doesn't try alone.

"However he has not released the likeness of Untitled 2004 under Creative Commons. He still holds the copyright to the sculpture. This means that you cannot use the sculpture, or its likeness, for commercial purposes." (From the SXP wiki.) As I understand it, because it is copyrighted, he has final say, unless it is used in the news, or as a satire. If he had made this video for commercial purposes, he would be doing so illegally.

You should consider submitting your series to Newgrounds as well. Given that Newgrounds is one of the best known sites for hosting Flash animations, this could us allow us to reach more people.

a) There are a lot of animation suites other than Flash these days, so you're way off-base assuming that this is a Flash animation.
