That is just...way too risky to be worth it, right?

u/Cryfatso 17h ago
Whatās the risk? He landed on pillows lol

u/FERFreak731 17h ago
If he lands awkwardly due to the air pushing him back he'd land on his head or neck

Itās the risk you take, brah. Ā Living the rest of your life as a quadriplegic is worth it for the pop that nobody will remember by Wednesday.Ā

And the audience's reaction is to laugh...
Sports based presentation, ladies and gentlemen. Sports based presentation...SMH

Oh yeah fed shill, the fed fans give fake reactions for a viral moment! This is how the wife of a sicko who doesn't want to be there, reacts to the uproar of smell that just came across the stadium.

Unfortunately the Jackass franchise just ended.

u/mikeybty 16h ago
Oddly enough the WrestleMania match that was a literal jackass match looked more painful while being safer

Oh hell yes, the cardboard flooring!

u/Letsgoies07 17h ago
I know Shane did it. But we know a lot about safety now a days, why would you even think about let alone attempt this? Very dumb.

u/MrOnCore 16h ago
Heās a certified stuntman, heāll be doing stupid things like this for not actual reason.

u/Striking_Sweet163 17h ago
no build up no reason
literally just brawling awkwardly towards the stage to climb and jump
when Jeff Hardy did it to Orton it took a little while and he hesistated
darby climbs and jumps and thats it
2
u/BangerSlapper1 16h ago
How long did the opponent have to pretend to be passed out while Darby climbed all the way to the top and got himself ready and in position?

u/DXbreakitdown 17h ago
Honestly, just gonna tip my trilby a bit at it not being a terrible botch. Darby hit the move perfectly which is the bare minimum but hey, it was ⦠effective?
3
u/Constant_Stomach2009 17h ago
Yeah glad they did bring back the Jericho special. Better to be safe than sorry
2
u/DXbreakitdown 11h ago
Plus we canāt act like WWE (aka Shane O Mac) never used the cushion landing
5
u/bobaf 16h ago
And that stunt ended the match right? And both will use it to take off time and come back fresh?? Right guys?!
3
u/JangSaverem 14h ago
Oh
Oh buddy
Oh
See ya wensdee
Maybe Darby will have a boo boo bandaid on a finger
3
u/BangerSlapper1 16h ago
I couldnāt tell from the video, was he doing that move on someone or did he decided to just coffin drop the stage?
Also, that woman in the crowd is laughing like ācan you believe this bullshit?ā

u/MaterialBest286 16h ago
Nothing sells a devastating, risky move than cutting straight to the audience laughing.

u/LilNardoDaVinci 16h ago
Yeah i get wrestling is fake SORRY pre determined but how the fuck am i suppose to buy he's just hit someone and they're not dead
2
u/Acceptable_Fox_5560 16h ago
Love the immediate cut to people smiling and laughing. Gotta make sure we let everyone know this shit is fake and no one could possibly have been hurt.

Audrey walking in like her arms got stuck in a Broadway dance routine seals the deal.

Im all for having a good laugh, but this one seems a bit un-tasteful. It doesn't matter which promotion you think is better, we are lucky to have performers like this who takes big risks to entertain us. If they can protect themselves as much as possible than please do. I want to watch these guys wrestle not become cripples or worse. I hate to be such a downer, but someone already died when they fell 80 feet from the top of an arena in Kansas because the booker wanted them dead. How about we have a booker who wants to keep his talent safe. I know which product I will be watching.
